Yahtzee game

Objective

The objective of Yahtzy is to score the most points by rolling five dice to make certain combinations over 13 rounds.

Gameplay

• Each player takes turns rolling five dice.
• On a turn, a player may roll the dice up to three times.
• After each roll, the player may choose to keep any number of dice and re-roll the rest.
• After the third roll (or earlier if the player chooses), the player must choose a category to score the dice.

Scoring Categories

• Aces to Sixes: Score the sum of the dice showing that number.
• Three of a Kind: Score the total of all five dice.
• Four of a Kind: Score the total of all five dice.
• Full House: Score 25 points.
• Small Straight: Four sequential dice (e.g., 1-2-3-4), score 30 points.
• Large Straight: Five sequential dice (e.g., 2-3-4-5-6), score 40 points.
• Yahtzy: All five dice the same, score 50 points.
• Chance: Score the total of all five dice.

Winning the Game

After 13 rounds, the player with the highest total score wins. If a player rolls multiple Yahtzys, additional points may be awarded depending on the game variant.
